Obedience

Sam & Graeme Field of Redpoint, have trained many Gwyndara offspring to Obedience Titles, proving that Gwyndara can produce intelligence and great temperaments as well as soundness and beauty.

Sam used our Ch Taraglen Orlando, over Ch Taraglen Verushks UD “Treens” to produce Ch Redpoint Razzamatazz CDX “Razz” a multiple Best In Show and Best In Trial Winner.

Treens was then mated to Ch Taraglen Plantaganet to Produce Ch RedpointThe Raindancer UD “Emma” (a multiple Best In Trial Winner) who was mated to Ch Gwyndara Playit Again CD “Luke” to produce Australia’s very first Obedience Champion Irish Setter Ch Redpoint Queen Of Hearts UD “Danni”. Unfortunately that was the end of the line for Sam’s breeding program as Danni was unable to produce.

Sam then obtained from us Ch Gwyndara Incognito UD “Ally” (Ch Gwyndara Montpelier (AI) “MONTY” and Gwyndara September Morn.) Ally excelled in Obedience with many Best In Trials but when almost to her Obedience Champion title, had a jumping accident and was no longer able to jump. However after being out of the ring for two years in 2006 Australia bought in a very hard and challenging class UDX where there is no jumping involved, so Ally is back in training for this new title.

Sam also obtained Ch Gwyndara Good Vibrations UD “Georgia” (Ch Gwyndara Total Eclipse (AI) “CLIPPER” and Ch Gwyndara You Wearit Well (AI) “GABI” ) her shining star at the moment. Georgia has won numerous Best in Trials, and also won NSW Novice Dog Of The Year, and then NSW Open Dog Of The Year against the cream of the crop of NSW Obedience trialling dogs. She is half way to her Obedience Champion Title, which Sam & Georgia is working for now.
